Where it Pertak? Pertak located near Kuala Kubu Bharu, Sungai Pertak is a river that flows along an Orang Asli village into Sungai Selangor Dam. A popular fishing and camping spot for weekend warriors and families coming from Kuala Lumpur.
The river flows into deep pools with small cascades in between, the largest section a short distance away from the village. The river is also an entry point for climbing Bukit Kutu, an abandoned colonial hill station located on top a 1000 meter high mountain peak. Sungai Pertak can be accessed by turning into Kampung Pertak along the main road, then following a gravel road all the way to its end. #discoverselangor
